Offa’s Dyke is on our doorstep and you can join one of the footpaths less than a mile from the park. Offa’s Dyke is an ancient earthwork stretching 177 miles along the England-Wales border, built by King Offa in the 8th century. It offers scenic hiking trails and historic exploration. Snowdonia National Park is home to Wales’ highest mountain, Snowdon, offering views across the sea to Ireland. The park also has an extensive network of trails, over 100 lakes and craggy peaks like Cader Idris and Tryfan (22.5 miles – 40 mins)

North Wales Coastal Path – there is 34 miles of cycle path along the North Wales coast between Talacre and Penmaenmawr. It is mostly hard surfaced and nearly continuously off-road (nearest point 6 miles – LL19 7EY)

Prestatyn Golf Course is the most northerly course in mainland Wales and is routed across 150 acres of natural links land (9 miles – LL19 7HS)
